The Goya Custom Quad 8 Pro Carbon is our flagship Surfwave quad-fin wave board, built for riders who want fast, powerful surfing with a lighter feel and sharper turning. Generation 8 delivers reduced weight, increased waterflow, and an augmented overall curve, creating a board that’s shorter and more tunable while still carrying the high velocity the Custom Quad is known for.

Developed through over two years of evolution and shaped by decades of wave-board design, the Custom Quad Gen 8 represents the pinnacle of the range. Improved efficiency, smarter volume distribution, reduced friction, and higher waterflow allowed us to shorten the outline without sacrificing the speed of previous, longer generations. The result is a board that places you deeper in the critical section of the wave—exactly where you want to be—while giving you more acceleration and tighter turning underfoot.

Weight savings have been refined throughout the build, including custom-made Quatro® US fin boxes for lightness and compatibility, plus a simplified deck finish to reduce unnecessary materials. This is a proven platform: with 9 world champion titles across Marcilio Browne, Maria Morales, Marino Gil, and Francisco Goya, the Custom Quad remains the off-the-shelf wave board chosen by the Quatro team—from juniors to pros—season after season. Generation 8 simply takes that winning formula one big step further.

The Goya Custom Quad 8 Pro Carbon is available in 56, 60, 68, 74, 80, 84, 88, 94, 104, and 116 litres, and is IWT and PWA World Cup approved, making it an ideal choice for committed wave riders looking for competition-level performance.

In terms of construction, the board features Pro Carbon GW build, Carbon & S-Glass hull technology, and vacuum lamination, combined with Hyper Skin GW High Density Full Sandwich for strength and response. A Carbon Monocoque structure connects the mast track and stance to the rails and bottom, creating a cohesive, direct-feeling platform designed to handle heavy surf.

Hardware and deck feel are fully updated with all-new Quatro® ultra-light US fin boxes (4 × 5.5”), KT Surfing® single-to-dual density traction pads (sloped, segmented, tactile grooved, and ultra-light), plus all-new MFC® fins and footstraps for a complete, modern wave setup.

Finish-wise, the board is available in Fluo Lime Tech-Reveal GW over carbon, with Neon Orange artwork and black pads for a standout look that still feels premium on the water.
